A practitioner-led digital innovator, Ashraf El Desoky has consistently applied technology to transform project operations and management reporting. His earliest digital contribution was developing a custom ERP system at Siemens AG Egypt (2000–2004) – a self-built solution in MS Access VBA that automated project tracking, materials management and warehouse operations.
During his decade at Norconsult/STC, he elevated this capability to enterprise level – building SQL-backed ERP systems and Power BI dashboards that provided real-time programme visibility for STC senior leadership across the national FTTH rollout programme.
His digital skills span from database design (SQL) and application development (VB.NET, ASP.NET, VBA) through to business intelligence (Power BI) and process automation – making him uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between project management and digital transformation.

Built from scratch using MS Access with VBA programming. Covered project progress monitoring, materials tracking, warehouse control and BOQ management. Adopted across Siemens Egypt project operations.
ERP & KPI Dashboard System – Norconsult / STC
Advanced ERP system with SQL database backend for STC programme data management. Integrated Power BI dashboards for executive KPI reporting. Transformed programme visibility for STC senior management.
Accounting & Attendance Application – Compumagic International
Designed MS Access application for accounting and time attendance management at Compumagic International. Also managed website design for the organisation.
